@ 16 Months

Arianna is now a little over 16 months. First time that I asked her today about the parts of her body. I'm so happy that she really learned from the babycanread thing. Yes, she can now identify the body parts . She also knows how to say thank you, uh ow, baby, and the other words she learned when she was few months younger. I know that she's not advanced as Bienne but I'm happy to know that she learns quickly as well. She can communicate as well through commands and requests. She understands what you want to say or ask like "where is your banana?" and she'll tell you where, "go put that in the trash" and she'll do what you say. Hopefully soon she'll start to talk. I couldn't wait to hear her talking with American English tone.

There's one thing that we wanted to change from her though. We want that she could sleep through the night. I know I've been ranting about this issue since she was born but I don't know what to do anymore. She really keeps waking up in the middle of the night. When this gonna change? How can we get full night of sleep if Arianna keeps waking up? Yay. I wish one day soon that she'd only wake up in the morning when the sun is up already. Hubby and I love to sleep you know. We had enough wakes already in the past 16 months of our lives as a married couple. It's so good to sleep without waking ups (be awake in the morning light), right?

Loving Hubby & Dad

I’ll take advantage the moment that baby is napping. I have to write interim posts as much as I could and save them on my draft for future use. I love it when she’s napping because that’s the only time I can get online. She’s so handful lately. Ari wears us out everyday but it didn’t change the fact that she’s so precious to us. In moments that she’s hard to handle, all I think is that babyhood wont last that long. I’ll just savor the moments she’s still a baby because I know for sure that I’m gonna miss this stage of her life when she grows up.

At night though, I couldn’t take to wake up and spend my time carrying her just to put her back to sleep. I let my hubby does it for me. I really need to sleep from a tiresome day that I had. My loving hubby wont complain at all. For as much as I would like to get up and help him, I just couldn’t open my eyes. Sometimes, I didn’t even realize that she woke up 10x! Poor hubby for facing this kind of responsibility but he loves doing it for our precious baby. I love you hubby, you are one kind of a father. You are the best!

Our Toddler

Arianna is officially a toddler. She just turned 1 on Sept 18. She loves to walk most of the time but the fact that she loves to cry didn’t change. She still want our attention , want to be held or else cry cry cry like an infant. At her age, she still wakes up in the middle of the night. Last night, she stayed up from 12:30AM until 2:30AM. Imagine that.

In fairness to Arianna, she is also a sweet little girl and a joker. When she hears fart, she would imitate the sound using her mouth. She knew two Filipino words (ako and ikaw)..When she’ll say “ako” she would also touch or tap her chest confirming that she’s she. When she’s in the mood like today, she kissed me and her daddy back and forth (that was so sweet of her). She loves her doll too. She would carry it just like a baby… and she hugs it when she sleeps.

11 Months Arianna

The fruit of our love is now 11 months old. She makes us happy everyday and at the same time she made us worn out as well not just in day time but night time too. Arianna has this so- called “separation anxiety” . Whenever she’s inside her playpen, she doesn’t want to be alone. Mommy or daddy should be with her or else fussiness would start right at the moment you leave her alone. Ever since she was born, she kept on waking up every night (yes until now at 11 months) she would still wake up and cry a little bit then back to sleep, at least two or three times a night. That’s pretty tough in our part but it’s okay. We just hope that one night that she would just sleep straight at night.

At 11 months, she can walk around her play yard with or without support. She has 4 teeth already. She likes to grind her teeth! Arianna also loves to imitate actions and words, she can dance . The words that she’s familiar with are : all body parts, dog, cat, elephant, hippopotamus, chimpanzee, monkey, zebra and basic action words.

I love taking pics anywhere we go. Good thing that I don't need to bring digicam ... cellphone is enough to capture pictures whenever and wherever. This photo was taken inside Ayala mall @ starbucks. Baby was in the mood to smile and I didn't want to miss those smiles of my baby. How precious her smiles are - - - so cute, like father like daughter. This is one of hubby's fave pics that I took.

I have just organized my pictures to folders. There are tons of photos that I don't want to delete. I know that the memory of this PC is getting so low but I just can't delete those pictures especially if the subject (of the photo) are the pictures of my happiness --- my precious family. Oh well, this PC will be given to my family back home . I will let them decide which picture to be deleted. For now, I'll enjoy myself viewing these precious moments.

She's Loving It

Happy new stroller baby! Are you loving it? Her first stroller is no longer functioning. We didn't like the first one though. It occupied a lot of space in the car and it was not portable unlike the new one. Hubby and I decided to buy this one because we are needing it when we get to Manila next month.

Baby Arianna kept smiling when she first laid on her stroller. For sure there will be more malling for the next days. She's an outdoor baby since she was 2weeks old. Unlike the other babies who would just stay in the house up to 5mons or so for health purposes. Thank God for giving her good health.

Our Sweetness @ 4 months

Our baby is now 4 months old. She's our sweetness. For those who didn't know her yet, her name is Arianna. Lately, we love to call her bb Bink2x. Bink2x is what we call her pacifier. My hubby composed that bb talk word for the pacifier. That bink2x helps us a lot really, it's our helper each time we put her to sleep. Most of our time is focus on her and we are loving it. She always wants our attention and in return she entertains us with sweet smiles. When she shows us her smiles, all we can do is to kiss her and hug her. We also try to make her laugh once in a while and each time she laughs, oh that's music to ours ears. She also wanted to talk but she can't, sorry bb bink2x. She can utter "mama" at this moment.

Recently, she enjoyed sucking her toes but she still prefers to suck her 10 fingers. We can't leave her alone on her crib while she's sleeping because once she wakes up she would roll over (dapa). Having that position, she would get tired and needs to lay her back on bed. Kicking is what she loves to do with her legs, no wonder she can stand now with support. Even when she was 2 months old, we tried to let her stand, in this way she can walk before she turns 1 yo.

She Looks Like Us

When Arianna was born, many said that she looked like my hubby. Three months later, she looks like me and my hubby(..???..) or maybe not. It is good though that the "fruit of love" should be looked alike with the mom and dad. Speaking of love, we're so inlove with our baby. Showing her sweet smiles to us makes our hearts melt. We love watching her sleeping, murmuring, calling me mama, sucking her fingers and toes, laughing and of course smiling..... so precious.

The Fruit of Love (Arianna) is now 2 Months Old

She is now two months old. These pictures were taken two days ago (exactly 2 mons old). She is getting bigger and cries like a little kid..and smiles like a happy child. She has a personality that melt our hearts. Her dad can make her smile always..and of course I wont miss every single smile of hers, I had and always have a camera on my hand. I wont get tired of taking pictures, whenever I have a chance and like her positions, I just simply grab the cam and click click click!!! Here are some samples.. The Fruit of Our Love was Born 9/18/08

From the first month of my pregnancy, we are anxious on what our baby gonna look like. We are imagining that baby is gonna be like this or like that. We both had a dream about our baby. We've seen our baby in our dreams. And finally, she's here with us: the fruit of our love. A healthy 8.3 lbs baby. My hubby was the one cut the umbilical chord. I'm so glad that I was conscious during the delivery, I was able to hear her first cry. I thank the Lord for the safe normal delivery. We named our baby as "Arianna" which means holy one.
