Love to Read and Write

Reading and writing are not part of my life for so many years or should I say since I learned how to read and write. I had no patience in this matter. It didn't come in my mind then that writing (posts) will be one of my source of income in the future (for couple of years now). Even when I started blogging, I didn't believe that I can earn $$ from this. In fact, I didn't expect that my blogs will be qualified in any paid-to-blog networks. I didn't believe in myself, my writings, my sites, etc. Good thing that even if I'm using Filipino English (not American or standard English), those networks accepted it. Oh yeah, so lucky huh? By now, I should love to read and write ... well yeah, I learned to love the two. In fact, I have several blogs that I regularly read (they know who they are). They are my inspiration to continue blogging. Sorry to tell them though that I couldn't write the way they convey themselves because they belong to smart Filipinas category. I'm just average individual but not dumb like the one with walnut brain, hehe! Sounds familiar? By the way, I have one info about myself that I haven't shared in all my blogs ( becoz I'm too shy to share or admit). The reason why I don't want to share: it's because of my poor writings.Well, to those who are reading my stay-in-love blog, to those who are still reading despite of my poor entries, well here's your chance to know me more (pamati kaau ko nu,way lingaw abi)I graduated salutatorian in elementary with seven gold medals around my neck, been in a higher section in University high-school, and a dean's list in college (almost an academic scholar,hehe). There are things that I want to buy but I’m not rushing to get them because these things are just my “want” not my “need” . I keep my eyes on to these things and buy them when the store is offering a great deal of the day. See? I’m not an impulsive buyer, simply because I value every penny I have. I think first my family back home than myself. I’m already fortunate enough to live here in the land of great opportunities so, I should give back the things I have to the needy.

Red Face

I had a teacher when I was in grade three who has an eczema on half her face. She became my co-teacher recently and until then she still has eczema. Her case was severe because the color is really dark red or close to maroon color. She said that she got it since she was born and due to lack or resources, it was never been removed. Little ones were afraid of her and thought she’s a monster. Though she got this scary looking face, she managed to stay happy and friendly. In fact she’s confident and bright.

Love Fil-Movies

I haven't watched Filipino Movies for over a year now and you know the reason why : I'm away from my country and the movies on youtube are no good. But today, I found a new link from a friend and the site is really amazing because I was able to watch Paano na Kaya without buffering or interruption. I was so excited from the very beginning till the end. The hubby hooked the notebook to the huge TV monitor and I was able to watch on full screen. Well, I only watched one movie today and looking forward for tomorrow. It's so good to watch when its free, new released, and yeah fast connection online.

I don't know why but I shed tears in the beginning of the movie. It was not that very touching scene but I cried : was it because I missed Filmovie or I'm just so corny individual? Whatever! But I care!

My Acne Baby

Should I get worried if I developed acne due to lack of sleep? Should I mind if baby is crying at night or let her cry while I continue my sleep? My answer is- - - I shouldn’t get worried of having pimples for the sake of my baby. I would rather have acne than hearing my child crying in the middle at the night. It is my responsibility to wake up and put her back to sleep. I love and care my baby than my beauty. Do I have beauty? That’s your question right? Lol! I couldn’t answer your question , please ask my mom and husband.

Face Cream

My friend and I talked about the beauty regime of Fili celebrities because they really possessed a very smooth and flawless skin. Yeah, they are well maintained by the popular cosmetic surgeon of the country. I wonder what’s the face cream they use everyday to maintain such glow on their faces. Well yeah, their assets are their beauties so they have to invest on their skin to make it perfect. But for low maintenance ladies like me, we are contented of what we have but we also need to take care of our skin so we should also apply such cream on our skin to make it smooth and flawless.

My Beauty Ritual

I hit the age of 30 last year and since then I’m religiously apply my ritual before I sleep at night. I’m gonna share with you my regular beauty regime. First and foremost , I wash my face with my favorite facial wash, then I apply my eye cream and of course my night creams. It is a must to remove my make up and dirt on my face to avoid having pimples. Then the night creams would help to maintain the moisture of the skin and avoid dryness. It feels so fresh and smooth when I have cream applied on my face plus bonus smell that the hubby love to sniff when he kisses me before sleeping

The hubby loves the landscaping business that he managed for so many years. He put all his time and effort to this business in order to stay in the industry until now. They said that once the business is already 5 years, that means it was well-managed by the manager. Well, he owned and managed this business for 10 years now. Do you want to know the secret of successful business ? Well, I can’t share the secrets because I can keep a secret. Kidding aside, some of hubby’s strategies are : sending flyers to prospect clients and give his customers promotional pens every year as remembrance for being loyal to the company.

Stay Safe : Get insurance

It’s a must to be responsible in everything we do. We need to be ready in every circumstances that comes our way. I’m so lucky that I have a responsible husband. He made sure that the family is covered to any unexpected circumstances such as sickness or accident. This is an extra monthly expenses but it is better than sorry in times of trouble. Take for example a car insurance. It is important , right? Having three cars mean having low cost car insurance to insure that every car is taken cared of by the insurance company especially during abrupt accident. It is less hassle if cars are insured.

Love of Make-up

I know that my hubby doesn't like me having my make up on but lately I start lovin' my make up. I started learning how to apply and using the correct brush and stroke. I feel comfortable having make-up than not. For me having make-up make me feel pretty hehe although I always believe that I'm ugly that's why make ups would make me look better. But I'm not into heavy make-up, I only apply light make-up, whether it's day or night.

I do log-in on youtube sometimes for tutorial to learn how to do it. I already learned how to trim my eyebrows and other tricks. I care more on eye shadows, lipstick and foundation. I have collections for my eyes courtesy of MIL, sister and friend. Right now I'm practicing how to apply my make up quickly so that I won't spend much time when I'm needed to apply.

Hubby's Degree

I wanna share with you the educational background of my husband and his success in business. My husband finished his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration on his 20’s. He was working in Pepsi Cola while he’s finishing his college. Yeah, he was a working student. He graduated with flying colors and continued working in Pepsi for about 15years. His business administration degree really helped him a lot and he was eligibly promoted to a managerial position . After serving 15 years in Pepsi Cola, he decided to manage his own business (The landscaping and tree trimming). He is running this business until now for about 10years. He was able to fly back in forth in the Philippines for three years without applying for a leave of absence since he’s the boss, the owner of his company.

Beach time

A little over a week and the Spring season was here.. Spring break is also considered a perfect time to escapade. Why don’t you book in an Outer Banks vacation rental somewhere in North Carolina? It’s a place that give you an opportunity to enjoy the beach , visit your points of interest or just sit back in your rental home and relax. It would be nice to break away and spend time with family and friends and create a memorable getaway ever. This kind of thought remind me of my time in my very own country. I loved to spend my time then in the breathtaking beaches with my hubby.

I’m not an engineer, not an architect but I strongly agree for the motion of others to use metal buildings for commercial, industrial , agricultural and residential establishments. Did I hear you asking why? Look around you, did you watch that devastating earthquakes happened last month and last week? That was horrible to witness on tv. How about the people were died due to poor building structure. How about hurricane, tornado and other natural calamities that are happening everywhere? It wouldn’t have been totally destroyed if the building were strong enough to stand still. It’s better to act now that feel sorry for the worst calamity that would possibly come our place.
