Still Early to Bed

It's only 10:30PM now and not sleepy yet so posting an article is maybe a good thing to do. Usually, at this time I'm already sleepy or tired but for some reason, tonight is different. I'll tell you the reason anyway: Arianna was so good today, she didn't wear me out unlike the previous months/days. She's sleeping sound right now but I expect that anytime soon she'll cry and I have to put her back to sleep by just sleeping beside her. Well, I should get up and back to sleep at the master's bedroom but unfortunately I slept on girls' room till morning for several nights. I told my husband tonight that I wont do it again because I missed sleeping beside him with our hands holding each other. How sweet eh? That's the secret of happy marriage - always express your love through words and actions.

Oh wow, I'm in the mood of typing these words tonight so then I'll go with the flow of my finger tips. After publishing this article, my plan is to read relevant blogs that are written in very good English so I could learn from them. You have no idea how I love to learn how to write. The problem is, I'm lazy to read and learn. I should be consistent in my study about the art of writing but I have this maniana habit inside me. Well, how can I learn if I'm acting lazy? Anyhow, I promised to myself that I'll give time in learning how to write and speak. Good luck to me.

Samsung HDTV

On cold weather like winter time, my family love to stay in the master’s bedroom and watch our favorite show on TV. Yeah, we have to come upstairs as early as 6:30 PM because our living room downstairs is pretty cold for hangout . So the husband is planning to buy new Samsung HDTV which is perfect for our bedroom. Our old TV seems not working from time to time. We needed to turn off and on so the sound will be back. I couldn’t wait for another HDTV to be added in our family. I love to stay in our bed room all day long so having a reliable tv is must.

It's freezing cold right now, its raining the whole day since yesterday and it's gonna continue the entire week. The Fox news and other channels are talking about typhoon in Southern California. Floods in Long Beach is terrible and tornado hit Huntington Beach area. Wow! I thought floods don't exist in the state of CA. I was wrong. Even the first world also suffers from natural calamities. In the Philippines, when flood hits certain place,they'll blame it to gov't officials for not fixing the drainage or not building drainage properly. Well, I realized now that even a place with a great drainage system ,floods won't stop to flow and raise.

In moment like today, I want to do nothing but to stay inside the house. It's better to stay than going outside, we don't know when the typhoon becomes stronger and stronger. This is not a good time to lurk around the city. Watching tv is ideal to do.

Thank God, hubby and I are well now after few days of suffering from illnesses such as colds and sore throat. We hopped to two more stores to see if they had a stand that’s already built but no luck. So today, we installed it piece by piece and step by step. After 4 hours, we finished it! Yeah we did it as a team! I think I helped about 40% of it mainly screws only. Oh how we like our entertainment show case. From today, we are no longer afraid to buy huge furniture that are inside the box from the store. We know now to connect pieces. Just follow the instructions, and you too are good to go.

I’m 30 years old now. What?! I’m already 30! How can I deny my age now? I couldn’t! The tiny winkles around my eyes are slightly visible especially when I smile! Gosh! This photo was taken on new year’s eve, a moment we welcomed the year 2010 with friends and their families. We didn’t expect to celebrate our first New Year here in the US with friends. Before the invite, I asked my husband how Americans celebrate New Year and he gave me some ideas how it goes. And he was right, that there was a countdown and when the time hits 12MN everyone greeted a Happy New Year(cheers with champagne) , and kissing scene (couple). And followed by hugging each other (greets and hugs with friends)..Some made noises. . . And that was it. I found it so intimate and cool.

But our first week was not that good, we both got sick.

He’s in a strict diet now but he eats as well six times a day including snacks. He loses about 20 pounds in the last three weeks of dieting and exercising using our fitness equipment. He doesn’t over exercise though, just enough to get rid of the excess calories in his body.
