Reading and writing are not part of my life for so many years or should I say since I learned how to read and write. I had no patience in this matter. It didn't come in my mind then that writing (posts) will be one of my source of income in the future (for couple of years now). Even when I started blogging, I didn't believe that I can earn $$ from this. In fact, I didn't expect that my blogs will be qualified in any paid-to-blog networks. I didn't believe in myself, my writings, my sites, etc. Good thing that even if I'm using Filipino English (not American or standard English), those networks accepted it. Oh yeah, so lucky huh? By now, I should love to read and write ... well yeah, I learned to love the two. In fact, I have several blogs that I regularly read (they know who they are). They are my inspiration to continue blogging. Sorry to tell them though that I couldn't write the way they convey themselves because they belong to smart Filipinas category. I'm just average individual but not dumb like the one with walnut brain, hehe! Sounds familiar? By the way, I have one info about myself that I haven't shared in all my blogs ( becoz I'm too shy to share or admit). The reason why I don't want to share: it's because of my poor writings.Well, to those who are reading my stay-in-love blog, to those who are still reading despite of my poor entries, well here's your chance to know me more (pamati kaau ko nu,way lingaw abi)I graduated salutatorian in elementary with seven gold medals around my neck, been in a higher section in University high-school, and a dean's list in college (almost an academic scholar,hehe). There I told you, I'm just an average student. How I wish I'm smart in words though. I don't even know how to end this post. Ah! stay in love folks!

wow, you're a pretty smart girl yourself lerms. that's what we all are, we think we're not good on things. pareho ta salutatorian pero HS lang to ako, hehe. consistent honor student pud since kindergarten pero nagkabuang pag college, hahaha. but still i don't consider myself good in writing. my hubby always tell me na i can write good blogs and speak good english but i always thought he said that coz im his wife,hahaha. syempre biased, lol. pero like u i also have a few blogs that i look forward to reading everyday because i wanna learn more from them. the way they express themselves and their thoughts in writing. lain lain man gud ta ug style when we write pero nahan pud ko makat on sa ilaha style heheh. pero kulang pa jud oi, dili jud ko kabalo, maau jud sila. which is the reality in life. naa jud better than us. so it's important to be happy with who we are. for me you're a good writer coz you can honestly express yourself. on top of it, you're a great friend.

kuyawa diay nimo sis oi, di basta-basta. di man diay ta ka-level, kay ako taman ra man jud ko pangarap nga ma-veledictorian or salutatorian. wa man jud fulfillment. nanguyad nalang ko ug smart aron magpatakud ko! ambot, wa man pag-asa, wa man jud natakdan!
pero ganahan ko read, unya trying hard pud ko mo-write. madada ra no? hahaha. i love the earning thing for the most part!

Honor-less man ko sa unang panahon. Ningkamot lang jud ko kakuha taas grades aron ma dean's list ko mao gikayluan nalibre akong tuition. Akong pangtuition palit nalang nako sanina kay wala mi uniform sa college :-)
Voracious reader hinuon jud ko sa unang panahon since grade school pa. Grade one palang ko nahurot na nako basa ang mga stories (English & Filipino) sa mga higher grades and kadtong Teachers’ Manual sa akoang Tita nga laon, hahaha! Puro English stories to sya. Ang napala, daut akoang mata! Mao na ron! Tiwasan pa jud sa high school and college anang mga pocketbooks. Duh! Ganahan jud kaau ko ana, hahahaha!
Anyways, I owe you much for being my blogging mentor :-) If not for you, I wouldn't be earning $$$ today. Thank you ever so much!
Expressing our thoughts in English is not a walk in the park. It is only our second language that's why we need to practice and develop our command of the language. We all are a work in progress and I salute you for the efforts you have put in to hone your skills in writing. And I must say, your efforts are paying off. Just blog to EXPRESS and not to IMPRESS. That is my sole motivation in blogging. Not too many may like my writing style or the way I speak my mind but it’s who I am. They just have to take it or leave it.
BTW, may I know the bloggers who belong in your list of Smart Filipina Bloggers? Interesting na ba. That deserves a separate post, hahahaha! Basin ma-inspire pud ko nila ug ma-learn pud nato ang writing style, hehehehe!
Anyways, I have always been proud of you not only because you have been a great friend of mine but because you always speak your heart out point blank. No pretensions. Simply Lerma.

Oh wow! I hear yah Lerms... Ako sad I love to read pero murag walay passion sa writing, murag, I can write what's on my mind but not like those people whom I admire so much when they write. Few people and I like the way they write and express their thoughts.
