When I arrived here in the US a year ago, one thing I have noticed in the surroundings was the beautiful neighborhoods in the cities. They are built nicely and neatly with landscaping. I believe that it is safe to live here but I wonder why majority of the houses have home security systems sign outside the door or window. A asked my husband why, and he said that sometimes intruders would forcefully get inside the house with different bad intentions.
