Garage Area

The two lovebirds (that’s us) were in the mood today. We cleaned the garage and set-up our exercise equipments. Hubby and I will start exercising from today onward, at least trice a week. We believe that exercising is one way to prolong our lives. To keep fit and healthy all the time.

It was a tiring clean-up because there are so many things in the shelf that need to be segregated . Some stuffs should be kept and others are just a messy things ( we got rid of them). We had to move the huge and heavy shelf to the other side so there will space for equipments. The other side of the garage is for our beloved Toyota Yariz.

Right after our clean-up, we really liked the result. It turned so clean and cool garage. Ready for garage sale in the future.

Are you Invited

When is the right time to send out Christmas party invitations? I have no idea when is the perfect time because back home (in the Philippines) there’s no problem to send the invites at the last minute. Infact, you have to expect people to come even if they are not invited. Another fact is, even if you’re not invited, you are very much welcome as long as you are related or friend of the host.

Health Insurance

It is important to have a health insurance because we don’t know when the sickness or injury comes. Accident for example, we can’t avoid it because it is a sudden hit that we don’t expect to happen. In my family, we are lucky that we got a chance to avail an affordable health insurance and Bienne have used it already when she had a bad tooth and needed to be removed.

RV or Boat

If I were to choose between a boat or an RV, I would choose RV. Here are my reasons: RV could be driven everywhere except ocean, could go places to places , park it somewhere safe and you are good to go. RV could offer a lot of fun. Hubby and I talked about getting one someday. He knew that I did find RV very cool. We’ll consider rv financing rather than pay it cash. I'm ready for future road trips!

Disclosure

45 minutes had passed and I still couldn’t fix my mind about what to write and how to say it because there are so much assignments to do but not that much personal post to share. I’m running out of topic so I might bore you with this post. Well, it’s now 10:48PM, I should be sleeping by now but I’m still watching movie on TV entitled “Disclosure” . It’s quite interesting that I couldn’t ignore but finish till the end. When this movie is ended I have to start dropping my EC cards and I have to write two more post after this. Oh! My stomach is begging for snack. I’ll end my post here tsk tsk .

Files Recovered

I haven’t told you yet that all my wedding folders (albums) were deleted in our laptop several months ago. That was the only wedding pictures we had in the computer and if you were to ask me how many pieces of photos? One thousand photos were deleted! The folders were not recovered from the recycle bin because that was emptied as well. I was desperate to recover the photos to the point that I wanted to contact the IT solutions, but before I did that , I contacted my photographer who’s 7k miles away from me. And yes, he has still the copies saved on his back-up files. So, I was able to retrieve my wedding photos last week. Happy me! And my husband too!

Weight Loss Pills

My sister just gave birth last week and yes, she gained many pounds from her pregnancy. She cares about her figure and so she’s searching for weight loss pills that work that she could take a year after giving birth. She’s breast feeding her baby that could help her loss weight as well. She was surprised how painful it is to breastfeeding the baby, she didn’t expect that it would hurt for several weeks. I hope she’ll get back her strength so she could take care of her baby without body pain.

Let's Talk about Mango

Mango is the most popular and favorite fruit of many Filipinos and yeah this is also the favorite fruit of my father. He always has mangoes available on our table everyday (until now). Mango Cebu (not in the pic) is the most loved mango by everyone there. When my husband lived with me in Cebu, I introduced to him our very own mango Cebu and he liked it.

The mango in the photo is not Mango-Cebu. I call it apple-mango and it is available in any grocery store here in Temecula Ca. Even though the price here is very expensive compared to Cebu, we still manage to buy with secret price. We bought it from Cosco which is 50% cheaper than in the regular store. Made in Brazil, very sweet and juicy. But nothing best than sweet mango-Cebu.

Buy Gifts and Give

Holidays is coming up and almost time of gift giving. I was thinking what gifts that are best to give my brother, father and mother in Gensan. I know that my mother like purses, my father likes new digital camera, and my brother likes ipods. Yeah ipods with an “s”. There are so many items that are on sale right now but I’m skeptical to buy or not because I know sending those items to other country using fedex would cost them a lot to claim the package. So, hubby and I decided to just give cash to our love ones in the Philippines. And they can scout and buy what they want on Christmas.

The Lighting

It was like yesterday when we moved here in our rented house but its been six months already. Days, weeks and months went so fast. We picked this house immediately after we saw this for the first time. We liked the floor plan and the number of bedrooms. The workers were here when we checked the house and they really update this place : the paint, the carper , the sinks and the lightning . The owner made sure that we’ll love this house so she made everything new. Oh! I love the masters bedroom because it’s very spacious , with walk-in closet and not to mention the bathroom lighting, its so cozy and romantic. With that, I love to soak my body on the tub. Hehe! The price of the rent is equivalent to its beauty though

This Area

This area in the house is where my kids spend their time most of the time. And also, this area is where the hapi family nap together and sometimes sleep together at night. This area is where we play wii, an area where we dance when Angels and Lakers win. There are so much to say about this area. We bought something for this area few weeks ago : a beautiful area rug but you couldn’t see it because it is covered by a comforter. I consider this area a virgin area (hehe!) because it has never been stepped by the visitors yet. How I wish there will be a party in this area soon . Hopefully on Bienne’s 8th birthday.

Barcode Scanner for your Items

It’s time to go out again and buy some grocery items. When we go out for this reason, we don’t buy a lot but just enough so we could go out so often for this purpose. Lately, we noticed that the store is always pack. We could hardly find a good spot to park so we decided to choose the time of our shopping. It has to be early. At that time the line at the cashier is not that long. Or either way, we could also scan our items using barcode scanner. Sometimes though we have to call the assistance because some items like fruits and vegetables don’t have access in the system yet and the variety looks like the same that we could get mistake in choosing which is the right one.

Renovated Kitchen

It’s been awhile that we haven’t visited MIL’s house. There are workers there right now doing some renovation at her house. It was her long plan to update her porch, rest rooms, front yard, back yard and kitchen. She couldn’t wait for us to see her new renovated house .We love to stay there again. We lived there for the whole month of April this year. When we are at her house, the kitchen is where I used to stay, to cook and to wash dishes. I think she is also updating her sink to copper kitchen sinks, cabinet, and kitche floor.

Couple's Date

This was our third date (the two of us only) in 6months. We watched a movie ( Couple’s Retreat) and we had dinner date afterwards. MIL was in good health that she was able to watch the kids. Hubby and I would like to go out ( as in date) once in while but we couldn’t because we have responsibility to take care of (our kids). Good thing that MIL is getting better that she could drive an hour and half to visit us here. We also want to visit her often but only when there’s no class (Bienne) .Our daily routine had changed since school year started. But it’s fine, that’s life. There’s always a summer that we could do and go whatever and whenever.

Effective Colon Cleanse

I don’t know why I don’t care to take any preventive medicines to protect myself from any sickness. The only pill I’m taking right now is contraceptive pills. Do I take vitamins? No. Do I take colon cleanse? No. When do I take those? When it’s already too late? Scary. I want to live longer for my love ones. Life is great. I want to be clean. I want to be away from any micro organism inside my body. It’s time to search what’s the best medications in the market.

Drive Safe

Owning a car has a lot of responsibilities. First, you have to pay your car loan monthly. Second, make sure you have a car insurance. Third, you have to put some gas in it. Fourth, wash it regularly. Fifth, get a valid registration each year. And last but not the least, when you drive make sure to follow the traffic rules or else you will be in a big trouble. For now, I don’t have responsibly when it comes to car. I don’t drive yet.

Productive Day

This blog is alive and kicking again! Staynluv received 7 stars today from my favorite website PayYouToBlog. Thank you so much! In moment like this, I can say that I ended my day productively. I really wish that this kind of opportunity would be in regular basis because it really keep me busy and avoid boredom. My baby is no longer that hard to handle, so online task is a must for me.

It is now 11PM and I have no plan to sleep yet. I still have one assignment to post and I’m all done for today. Yeah, that’s me. I want to submit my assignments in one day. I don’t wait for the deadline. My mind would get busy if I’ll do the waiting.

Las Vegas Escapade

Our plan to watch the fight of Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto on November 14, 2009 in Nevada is cancelled. Instead, we will just watch it on Pay-per-view. We have planned to watch live close to the ring side and stay in cheap hotels in las vegas. But we can’t leave our kids behind. No one is available to watch them while we are out of State. Watching live is not a big deal to me. I’m contented to watch it on TV. What I like about going to Nevada is to see the beauty of Las Vegas.

Beauty Products

According to beauty experts that you have to apply a sunblock cream even when you are in the shade most of the time. This would help to maintain the texture of your skin and it wont damage your skin. I don’t know why I can’t follow this great advice. My daily ritual is to apply whitening cream and my newly found acne products. The reason why I’m applying these creams is to smoothen my face and make the color lighter. I easily get dark when I’m under the sun for few minutes and I hate to be that dark.

Go go Angels

Play-offs time again! As usual Angels VS Boston. But I hope this time, Angels would win. Been watching this game for four years now and so far, I’m enjoying watching it especially when Angels won. Like my husband, I’m also sad when Angels lost the game. Tonight was their night , they won the first game in pay-offs and two more wins and they will play against the other division‘s winner. I’m crossing my fingers! I don’t think that Boston would allow that. BUT I hope, Angel’s would win! Go angels!!

Life Insurance Leads

Landscaping business is our source of income. This is a good business but not the best. My husband is having a headache sometimes in managing this business. In recession time, he needs to get some leads online in order to get clients. Same is true in insurance business, they also need life insurance leads in order to continue their business. Without decent amount of clients, the business would be closed.

Motorcyle Jack

It was my brother’s idea to have a vulcanizing shop business. He really love this kind of a job as a sideline. After few months of planning, he opened his shop . The equipments that he has right now are the following: compressor, tire jack, tire changer machine, and tube plate. Soon he will need a motorcycle jack because most of his customers are using motorcycles, not a car. But this jack is not available in the area.

Yellow Lamborghini

Do you love cars? If you do, you might like the photo attached in this post. It’s a Lamborghini Sports car. There are six of them riding in the street of Temecula and they were the center of attraction. I saw several people (including myself) taking pictures of these luxury cars. Saved by the traffic light! To give you a little idea about this car, the price would range from $200K-$400K and the speed would reach 200mph or faster than that. I only see this kind of car in the movie (17 Again) but now I’ve seen Lamborghini for real! For my eyes only though.

Water Filters

Tell me, I’m from “out of this world” and I would agree with you. The things that I didn’t know before, I have learned it from here (US). Take for instance, I didn’t know that the refrigerators have water filters inside. I didn’t know that garbage compressor could be installed inside the kitchen. I didn’t know that there’s garbage disposal attached in the sink. And many more other things that I didn’t know they exist.

Classroom Chairs

If there is one thing that pop-up in my mind once in a while is seeing myself teaching again in front of my students. I believe that once a teacher, will always be a teacher. That’s why, I’m opening my heart again to teach in the near future. Imagining myself staring at my energetic students sitting on the classroom chairs made me proud that I once taught them how to read. And that is my calling right now, to continue what I have started.
