The Chocolate that I Love

Do you love chocolates too? Have you tried this one (The Hawaiian Host Macadamia Nuts)? If you do, you would agree with me that it's so yummy! For me, this is the best chocolate among the rest. Made from Hawaii. It's the Hawaii's gift to the world. I'm so glad that my sister is living in Hawaii, I can ask her anytime to send me a box of chocolate. This was the second time that she sent me a box of chocolate here in CA. BUT my family in the Philippines have received their share for more than a decade since the first package. I remember hiding the boxes of chocolate and I ate them by myself, haha! Can't get enough of it! So so delicious!

The History of Hawaiian Host :

Since Boyhood, Mamoru Takitani had dreamed of being a candy maker. Not just any old candy maker, BUT The best Candy Maker That ever was. When his magical recipe for chocolate-dipped macadamia nuts created a sensational on his home Island of Maui, he decided it was time.
Moving to Honolulu, Mamoru purchased Ellen Dye Candies, a local confectioner since 1927, and renamed the Company Hawaiian Host. Armed with his fabulous recipe, he soon filling orders all over Oahu.

Islanders loved the rich, creamy flavor of Mamoru's little masterpiece. Visitors discovered them to be a perfect gift for the folks back home. And competitors everywhere tried desperately to copy them.

My sister loves to give me stuffs like shoes, clothes, cosmetics, fashion jewelries and I’d like all of them. She called me few days ago to tell me that she has two nice tops that wont fit her. I thought she will give it to me but I was wrong. She’ll try to trim down a bit after her pregnancy. And if no chance to lose her weight, she’ll sent the stuff to me. Well, I’m not that greedy so I gave her an advice to take some fat burner that is effective and affordable. She’ll think about it though because she haven’t tried taking such pills in her life.

Long Nap

Hubby, Arianna and I had a long nap today (after lunch) while Bienne and MIL were busy playing with the Barbie dolls. There's nothing much to do especially it's Sunday(yes, we went to church in the morning). It says in the date of this post Monday, but actually its passed midnight (Sunday). Hubby and I are here in the office, we both not sleepy because of our long nap. I'm hearing the "click" of his mouse and he's hearing the sound of my keyboard.

What else I could share...hhhmmm I'm just updating this blog. I have nothing more to say (as usual). I guess I better go to bed now, my fingers are kinda aching from playing the piano, I must as well rest my fingers, back and butt. Goodnight everyone.

Love = Heart

"Heart" is a sign of "Love" . Heart is my favorite shape. Here are two heart shapes that I found lately. The flower at FIL’s garden and this apple was taken today after my first bite. I passed the apple to Bienne and she was amazed that it formed a heart shape. It only means that my Love to my hubby and kids is over flowing. My piece of advice for today is “stay in love” and you’ll see many hearts around you. Don’t miss to collect evidences of your love and keep them forever.

Cancer is the least disease that anyone would want to have. All though we can’t avoid having illness, but at least we know that we can prevent it at any cause. We Saved $20

From now on, I will be the one to cut the hair of my husband. I did it today using these easy to use hair clippers. I should have done this before but I was afraid to do it so we waited 2 years! If only I knew that it can be done by anyone who doesn't has an experience (like me) in hair cutting then we already have saved a lot. Good thing that hubby and I love his skinhead or else hair cutting should be done in hair salon which cost $20 or more. The most challenging part was trimming the edge, but with the use of battery operated small clipper, it was easy. I'll cut his hair every three weeks.

We Missed our Home

There's no place like home. There is no other place that is more comfortable than our house. Agree? You might agree if you love your own place, if not then you may prefer to stay in other house. We stayed for three days in FIL's house. It was very comfortable place, we enjoyed swimming in his pool, we enjoyed the presence of his friendly visitors, and yes, no dull moments during the time that we were there. FIL was very loving and joker! On our third day in his place, we missed our house! And so, first thing in the morning we came home. And we'll be back at his place on Friday, for a very exciting event.

Patio

Since we purchased our patio furniture on June, we have used it just once (on Father's day). We couldn't stay in our patio right now through out the summer because it is extremely hot outside. The weather is so warm as soon as we wake up in the morning until 8pm. Even though we have AC inside, it's not enough to cool us. So, in moments like this, we all want to go out in the mall or watch a movie.

Loved Day

There are reasons why we love Sunday: First thing in the morning as we open our door, we'll get our newspapers together with bunch of coupons. And our favorite coupon is attached in this post. Who hates coupons anyway? I like coupons a lot. We can save a lot of $ from the coupons we get every Sunday.

Sunday is our worship day. We don't need to rush every Sunday because the church is very close to the house. Having baby during Sunday is not a hassle at all because there are volunteers in the church who take care of the babies in the nursery room. Baby Ari loves to mingle with other babies/little kids. She surprised us for not crying for several Sundays in the room.

Sunday is also a good time for us to go to the pool and enjoy the water.
