Get Well

Few hours after we arrived home from the hospital, I heard a knock on our door while my husband was still asleep. As I opened the door, I was surprised seeing the basket full of assorted flowers. See the picture before this post. The flowers was given by Pastor Steve and Mrs. Si. They dropped by in the hospital but unfortunately, my husband and I were asleep. They didn’t want to bother us so, instead of going back to the hospital, they just sent us a “get well” greetings. How thoughtful they are! So anyway, since my husband was still sleeping, I quietly placed the basket of flowers on one of our tv stands close to the bed so that he will be surprised when he woke up but I wasn’t quiet enough. He immediately sent a “thank you “ message to Pastor and Mrs. Si.

@ Hospital 4 two days

We stayed in the hospital for two days. My husband got sick but he's fine now. Same illness he had during our honeymoon ... staying in the hospital was not good but that's the only way to feel better when you are in pain. He was admitted at Chong Hua Hospital (this time) and this hospital is better than CebuDoc when it comes to cleanliness, charges, facilities, and performance of employees (doctors, nurses, etc).

We didn't expect any visitors though but we are surprised and honored that two of our friends visited in our room. One was my high school friend/classmate who is now a doctor and the other one was our church leader/preacher.

Thank God that my hubby is well now though he has to continue his meds for the next eight days.

It is also good to be with our kids finally, we missed them so much.

A basket of flowers was delivered at home from Pastor and Mrs. Steve Si.

6th Folder : 6th Photo Tag

A tag that I got from a friend Glorie of Fit4all. I like this tag because I have no idea what would be my 6th album and 6th photo. I was so interested to find out . Today, I had nothing to do except from EC dropping so I decided to do and post this tag. I browsed to my 6th, 6th and the photo is no other than one of my faves. It was taken inside Ayala mall during the 8th visit of myluv here in Philippines last August 2007. What I like about this photo is that we were both glowing/blooming and in-love (as always) . I like his light blue eyes and I like my not that dark skin (I’m dark in person though). I used our red Samsung digital cam in this picture. That’s all I can say about this picture tag. Thank you for tagging me. Now, I want to tag Ivy , Lainy, Elaine, Breggie and Darlene.

Here are the rules:

1. Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures.

2. Go to the 6th Folder and then pick the 6th Picture.

3. Post it on your blog and tell the story that goes with the picture.

4. Tag 5 other glorious people to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog telling them about it.

Ambush Interview with the Baby

What a pleasant day we had today at Rustan's Banawa parking lot. While we were waiting for Bienne's dismissal (she was on the field playing with her classmates for PE), hubby had an ambush interview with our baby Arianna. Baby "A" had no problem with it. All questions asked by hubby were honestly answered by Arianna. If you want to laugh, you should click the play button. Enjoy viewing!

Reproduced Photo

This photo is so memorable to me. It was taken during our first meeting in Davao January 2006. I was only 26 years old and myluv was 39. The picture was reproduced by my father by taking the picture out from photo. We didn't have a digital camera during the first 2days of our meeting and so I told my dad to bring his manual camera to have a souvenir pictures at that time I introduced myluv to my family. ( Long pause ... I'm looking back what happened that time ) . I think my family was expecting that myluv will get my hands from my family (pamanhikan). But no. The engagement happened 11 months after that.

Needs Video Card

Recently, our young little girl Bienne showed interest in computer games ( good games though). She spent many hour on gaming and she received an award online each time she won. We let her play such leisure since it was weekend . One of the games that she liked needs a 3D video cards
in order for her to play. Sad to say, that our computer can’t create a video signal for that particular game. We need to install an expansion card in order to transfer data to our PC so that it can be displayed on the monitor. Better luck next time moi Bienne.

Our Sweetness @ 4 months

Our baby is now 4 months old. She's our sweetness. For those who didn't know her yet, her name is Arianna. Lately, we love to call her bb Bink2x. Bink2x is what we call her pacifier. My hubby composed that bb talk word for the pacifier. That bink2x helps us a lot really, it's our helper each time we put her to sleep. Most of our time is focus on her and we are loving it. She always wants our attention and in return she entertains us with sweet smiles. When she shows us her smiles, all we can do is to kiss her and hug her. We also try to make her laugh once in a while and each time she laughs, oh that's music to ours ears. She also wanted to talk but she can't, sorry bb bink2x. She can utter "mama" at this moment.

Recently, she enjoyed sucking her toes but she still prefers to suck her 10 fingers. We can't leave her alone on her crib while she's sleeping because once she wakes up she would roll over (dapa). Having that position, she would get tired and needs to lay her back on bed. Kicking is what she loves to do with her legs, no wonder she can stand now with support. Even when she was 2 months old, we tried to let her stand, in this way she can walk before she turns 1 yo.

The Promise of Love

We promised to love one another not only yesterday, but today and forever. Three years had past and we still keep that promise by showing it thru words and actions. If you ask me if we had fight or argument even once, my answer is No. Every single day, you'll see us very gentle and loving to one another. We really care to our feelings ... we are aware to our words not to hurt each other. Actually, there is no reason to fight, we are here to Love not hate. I thank the Lord for the promise of love and for the gift of love. I thank Him for giving me a great guy, an awesome man. A great father and perfect husband. I consider myself a very lucky woman. I always tell that to my husband, and he would say the same thing to me. We believe that love should bloom at early age until old age. To care, to love and respect until the end of time.(ok you can kill the ants now crawling near you, that's how sweet we are right now until wrinkles are showing on my skin, promise). Promises are made to be done.

Now Showing : 4 Christmases

It is now showing at SM (Cebu) Cinema 4. I wonder why they show this just this week. This movie (comedy/love story) should be shown during Christmas season. No wonder only few watched this movie today, in fact only me and hubby were on deluxe seats. With or without viewers, we enjoyed watching this movie, very funny. It lasted very shortly though: runs 1 hour and 15 minutes. We laughed several times, good for our hearts.

She Looks Like Us

When Arianna was born, many said that she looked like my hubby. Three months later, she looks like me and my hubby(..???..) or maybe not. It is good though that the "fruit of love" should be looked alike with the mom and dad. Speaking of love, we're so inlove with our baby. Showing her sweet smiles to us makes our hearts melt. We love watching her sleeping, murmuring, calling me mama, sucking her fingers and toes, laughing and of course smiling..... so precious.

Walked Out

Okay.. We bought two tickets to watch this movie entitled “Spirit”. Hubby and I didn’t have the idea what’s the movie all about except that it is based on comics story.. We were both curios though . As always, we preferred to watch on deluxe seats and oh, we have no choice to pick other film to watch since we already watched the other two in the last two days. To make the long story short, we walked out after 30 minutes of watching . The reason? If you didn’t like the story, do you still continue watching for the sake that you have paid the tickets? Boring. Period.

Mexican Foods

We both love mexican foods.. Myluv introduced me to mexican restuarant few years ago and I find their foods so tasty and yum. Recenlty we found a new Mexican restaurant close to Mandaque area and two days in a row we went to that place and had our dinner. How I wish I have their recipe on shrimp spaghetti so I can cook it for myluv ..but I know each restuarant has a secret on how they made it perfectly... so delicious!

2nd Day of the Ox Year

There was no English movie on the Cinema so we have no choice but to watch a Tagalog movie entitled "Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat". All seats were packed, no wonder that this film is now certified Box Office. Congratulations to our very own comedy queen Ai-Ai. I laughed few times of her jokes (revised sayings) while myluv was asleep beside me. Sorry myluv, I liked this comedy Pinoy movie.
As far as I can remember, here are some revised sayings that Ai-ai mentioned in the movie:

"Practice makes perfect, but then again nobody is perfect so why practice"
"Anuhin mo ang malapalasyong bahay, kung hindi naman ikaw ang nakatira"
"Tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you my friends are, para barkada"
" Ang batang masipag, paglumaki, pagod"
" I believe na ang taong gipit sa Bumbay kumakapit"
" Ang babaeng naging kunduktura, ay hindi natutumba"
" Ako ang nagtanim, iba ang kumain, dahil diet ako"

My version : "May kasabihang, kapag butas ang bulsa, tahi-a"
"Anuhin mo pa ang damo, kung tuyo na ang mga ito"
"Don't talk if your mouth is foul breath"
