Not by Name

Do you call your husband/bf/fiance by his name? Not me! I'm not comfortable calling him by his name. I only mention his name if I'm talking to others and I'm refering to him. I call my husband "my love" at home, in private places and in public. On the other hand, he calls me "my love" or " babe" unless if I didn't hear him he calls me "Lermz". I think "myLove" is not common as "honey", "sweetheart", "darling" etc. I got the idea of calling him " my love" from the soap opera that I used to watch "Ruby". For me, calling my husband by his name is so apathetic.. I always want to be sweet, you know I'm sweet by nature.=). One day I teased my hubby by calling him "Andy" and you know what he freaked out, hehe and then we laughed. I also asked him if calling him "my love" when we get to the US is just fine, he said yes..I asked him because I don't want him to get embarass by my ka-corny-han. I'm glad that he loves it.

Dramatic Daughter

It breaks our hearts seeing Bienne suffering from asthma attack. In moment like this we want to give her the comfort that she needs. She slept with us for two nights on a medium bed. She likes the idea that she was between us. She is feeling better now, but when I told her to sleep in her bedroom, she started to cough so hard (just acting so that she can still sleep with us). The next morning, she admitted that she just had an acting and so we disciplined her not to do it again..that faking is not good.

With this, I realized that even if the child is really great in many ways, she still has weaknesses. I hope that this attitude of hers would change before it becomes a habit. We love Bienne and we want the best of everything for her.

I'm fortunate really that since we have known each other three years ago, we never tried to fight or even argue (even once)..that's unbelievable to think but that's the truth. We believe that being peaceful everyday until forever is normal.What abnormal to us is when couple fights.Thank you Lord for the gift of love.

We Love HHWW and HHWS

We definitely like these two : Holding Hands While Walking & Holding Hands While Sleeping. Ok I'll explain farther ..wherever we are as long as outside the house we do hold our hands together without fail. I'm already used with it. I'm not comfortable without holding our hands...I feel like I'm falling on the ground, I can't balance myself properly, hehe! And yes we're holding hands while sleeping(during the time I was pregnant, my tummy was too huge to hug).

Fruit of Love : Arianna

I love taking series of pictures of her until she cries. She's so precious to us. Thank you Lord for the gift of having her in our lives.

Boracay Getaway

I was 6 months pregnant (June 2008) when we decided to go to Boracay: our dream place to visit. We were booked few weeks before our scheduled trip. Hubby and I were excited to be in Boracay. Unfortunately, a day before our trip, typhoon destroyed the place (according to TV news) but the bad news didn't hinder our trip..we still went to Boracay despite of the bad weather. We arrived there safe and sound and the place was packed as if nothing bad happen. We enjoyed our time there, though the beach was not calm as used to be. I was frustrated for two reasons: I can't swim as much as I want to because the waves were huge and the water was not crystal clear. We played puddle ball, we walked from station 1 to 3 and mall hopping. We also took tons of pictures. This was our last getaway for this year since we are too focus on our baby now.

Prenuptial Video:You Complete Me

I asked my husband if prenuptial video is common in the US, he said no.What common there is prenuptial agreement hehe! I told him that here in the PI it's normal to have prenuptial video especially if its kinda grand wedding. I didn't expect though that we gonna have this video, it was all the plan of our wedding coordinator.

The video was taken at Gumasa Beach in Glan Sarangani Province(Mindanao).We picked this location because its fine white sand beach. We had so much fun taking this video.. we were conscious sometimes since we're not used with this thing.

I really like the final outcome of the video.. well edited and styled by our videographer. Enjoy watching!

The Wedding Venue

What a place! Awesome! Amazing! I didn't imagine that Paseo del Sol exists in Gensan.The grand opening of this place was Feb 2008,the moment of our wedding! Upon seeing this place, Andy and I didn't think twice but immediately booked the place for our wedding. While we were in the area, I started daydreaming while my coordinator and Andy were busy talking. Suddenly, Jenny (coordinator) asked my opinion and I woke up and laughed.... and I said "please say it again, sorry I'm already imagining myself walking in the aisle"...Andy laughed as well because he can tell I'm daydreaming. I was really amazed with the place! How lucky that the place is fully furnished.

Most of our guests were impressed with the place as well. After the wedding, I got so many text messages and they told me great comments..they were thankful that I invited them.

About my Husband

Been tagged by Anne and Ivy. Thank you pretty friends! I like this kind of meme too because I know that my hubby is reading this blog though he knew already that I'm proud of him even before.

1. I love him for being so thoughtful. Communication is so important to us. Our day is not complete without knowing how we are each day.

2. I love the way he loves me. He makes me feel so precious and special to him every single moment. How sweet he is. I love to hear our I love you's many times a day.

3. I love his attitude. He is mabait and can control his temper. Whenever I upset him, he will just keep quiet and I already know that I did something wrong. It would only last for few minutes and back to normal again. Sweetness chuvachuchu nasad.

4. I love the way he cares for Bienne. Bienne is so lucky for having Andy as her dad. He disciplines Bienne and love her as his own.

5. I love the way he loves his family and my family. He's very family-oriented.

Tagaytay Trip

Ten months ago we went to Tagaytay to see the beauty of the place. A great place for lovers.=).

We stayed at THE Boutique: Bed and Breakfast. I heard about this place "The Boutique" through the television show "Boy and Kris". Kris and her husband James stayed in this place in the room called "I Lust" though it was occupied already so Andy and I stayed in the 3rd room down from "I Lust", called "I Dare". Kris was right, this room is really awesome! Upon check-in, they will let you pick your own selection of body essentials (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, and room freshener). What initially caught my attention was the number of pillows on the bed! Not a typical hotel, so to speak, but kind of like a beautiful master bedroom. I'm telling you this is the most luxurious room I've ever stayed in... with a 26" HDTV, with DVD player inside. The only slight disappointment to us was that there's no wireless internet connection inside the room as they claimed in the ad....then again you can use their internet at the front desk, but not during business hours...and not exactly as advertised!! It's not all about the inside but also the most amazing and breathtaking view outside the room, overlooking the beautiful Taal lake, islets, and forest.

9th Visit : The Wedding Preparation

On his 9th visit to Pinas was the busiest time of all his trips. He spent his Holidays with us (Christmas and New Year). This was the time when we prepared for our wedding. We ordered things that need to purchase like wedding rings, souvenirs, prenuptial photos and videos, meeting with the wedding coordinator, paying the venue, etc, etc. We went to General Santos City to comply some documents such as counseling and marriage license. We also went to US embassy in Manila to request the capacity to marry.

During this trip, we also had side trip to Tagaytay. We stayed 2 nights and three days there at Bed and Breakfast. We really had so much fun inspite of the hectic schedule. Thankfully, every thing went well because we did things one at a time. We were thankful also for our wedding coordinator who really did her best for our wedding.

His 8th visit : On my Birthday

MyLuv Andy didn't break his promise: to visit me here in Cebu as much as possible. It was then my 28th birthday (August2007) when he visited me again: it was his 8th visit. We celebrated my birthday together with Bienne. He gave me a gift( 2-tone anklet) that until I'm still using it. He also handed to me some birthday cards from him, Bienne and his family in the US. I also received gifts from his mom and sister-in-law. They are really sweet.

During this visit, we just spent our time in the mall, pool and our apartment. We purchased a workout equipements and we exercised every other day. We also played indoor games in the vacant apartment that we rented.

Keep the Love Burning

One thing I really like about our relationship as husband and wife is that we never forget to show our love everyday..we are not afraid to say " I love you" many times a day. We are open to what we feel and we promised that we will keep our love burning till the rest of our lives. And we believe that " Promises are made to be done" not to be broken. Its our dream that when we get old, we still care and in-love. There are other old couple that we've seen in person who are still so in-love and we like that. I'm so blessed that I found a man who really care about our feelings in the future. Before, I'm so scared to get married because of the fact that when a woman gets old, the husband won't care about her anymore.

Summer @ Bantayan Island

It was Andy's 7th trip to Pinas when we went to Bantayan Island. We stayed there for 3 nights/4days @ Maia's Beach Resort. I liked the nipa hut cottage and the swimming pool(water is warm). Summer was almost ended that time and so we were the only guests and the two white couple. On the second day we asked the caretaker to send us to the other resort with a fine white sand beach. We spent our time swimming and collecting shells. They consider this place little Boracay (I agree)..but going to Bantayan from Cebu is more expensive than Cebu to Bohol. I don't think we will go to Bantayan again..I don't like the long drive to get there.

Andy's 6th Trip : March 2007

See? Andy really loves the Philippines... March 2007 was his 6th trip to PI. But the truth of the matter is, he likes the Philippines because I'm here =). During this time, we went to Maribago Blue Water Resorts to meet my friends from Davao Niña and Fortune. We had great time together. Bienne also enjoyed the artificial white sand. It was really hot that time and I felt so guilty and sorry that I didn't accompany my fiance walking in the entire resort. Sorry mylab, I was scared of the sun that time, but now, not anymore... I love my dark color now that I don't care if I turn charcoal after walking under the hot sun.

Three is a Crowd

Andy's 5th visit to Philippines

Time went fast and being alone in the apartment made me deaf (except when Andy is here), we decided to get Bienne in Gensan though her school is not yet over. It was January of 2007 when she was with us for good. I talked to her teacher back in Gensan to let her took the examination in advance (3rd grading) and the admin said no problem. Her grade was affected though but its OK, she was only Kinder1 that time. To make the long story short, Bienne was living with us and we were happy each time my fiance was with us. The routine became new to us, the two became three and it was really fun. We went out swimming every other day and sometimes everyday. I can say that Bienne was never that happy until she was with us. We were blessed for having Andy in our lives. We're complete and contented. Bienne and I felt the love we got from Andy. He's great man and dad to Bienne.

The Fruit of Our Love was Born 9/18/08

From the first month of my pregnancy, we are anxious on what our baby gonna look like. We are imagining that baby is gonna be like this or like that. We both had a dream about our baby. We've seen our baby in our dreams. And finally, she's here with us: the fruit of our love. A healthy 8.3 lbs baby. My hubby was the one cut the umbilical chord. I'm so glad that I was conscious during the delivery, I was able to hear her first cry. I thank the Lord for the safe normal delivery. We named our baby as "Arianna" which means holy one.

D' Engagement

One of the memorable moments of my life : Our simple engagement. It was his 4th trip to Philippines when he finally proposed. He asked me that question that I have been waiting for ...
" Will you marry me?"..Before he asked me that question, he had a short message for me, I listened very eagerly. Only the two of us in that 4 corner room. I didn't know what to say... it was kind of a shy reaction of mine... I smiled and answered "Yes!". We were engaged for 15 months. =)

Rented Apartment

Before his (Andy) third visit to Philippines on August 2006, I was already in Cebu for good. We rented an apartment. At first, I thought I can't find a decent and affordable apartment. I almost lost hope and I told him that instead of Cebu, why not Davao? But for the last day that gave myself finding a place, finally I found one in Banilad.

August 9 came and time to fetch him in the airport. He brought with him so many things for the apartment. I wasn't sure if he'll like the apartment but to my surprise, he liked it and happy for it.Presently, we moved to a new apartment since the appliances, furnitures and other stuff wont fit on that apt anymore.

During this trip, we went to SocSarGensan. This was his first time to visit my hometown (Malandag) and the city where I lived (Gensan). He met my parents second time around. Gensan is the Tuna Capital of the Philippines and so we visited the fishport to see huge Tuna!
