I’m lucky that I don’t have any allergy except when I was younger, when I eat shrimp, I tend to feel itchy on my ears. Thankfully, it didn’t last long. The allergy was gone when I kept eating shrimp, my immune system accepted it. The daughter on the other hand has allergy, she’s asthmatic but I don’t know what’s the cause  of it. I observe that when she uses all her energy then her asthma attacks. So far, my two other daughters don’t have allergies and so with my husband. Are you fond of comparing prices to any item that you wish to purchase? Are you asking me? Yes I do compare prices especially if I’m not in a hurry to buy such a thing. As I mentioned in my other blogs, this coming Monday will be the second semester in nursing program for my husband. This semester , they will be dealing with different medical apparatus such as mobile computer carts, mobile medical beds,  and many more. Before they will report to the hospital for the clinical hours, they have to report first at the school for 7 weeks and learn thoroughly about the hospital premise and what to expect in the training.

The husband has some chills every time he thinks about the experience that he will be dealing for the next couple  months. For the meantime, he has to learn the basics and get ready for the real    thing which is the actual situation in the hospital. Good luck my hubby.

I easily get impressed when I see a property with a beautiful gazebo kits in the corner of the lot. I don’t know I’m so fascinated with the gazebo. Is it because I had my wedding vows in the gazebo? Maybe so. Having gazebo in the property adds some ambiance and it feels like very inviting and your friends would love to hangout with you especially during spring and summer when the weather is not chilly .

Inviting your friends to have a tea pot party at the backyard could be possible or just a plain chatting with friends during the precious moment is really a fun idea to take place.Isn’t so cool? Too bad I don’t have that kit a home! Yay! But I still enjoy my time with my friends , at the park or wherever we could set-up the venue.

This week marked our 6th year anniversary ( meeting in person) . 6 long years of being happy and in love . Life is good since then. Love my life and I thank God for that everyday.

It’s about time to update my netbook . I think I have to change it to another brand like toshiba laptop computers maybe. This time  I prefer laptop over netbook, just for a change. The speed might be better if I use a laptop. I seldom use my netbook book now. I only use it when I have photos to download or when I have something to post on my blogs.

I still have a second thought though if I would get a laptop or not. Only because I really seldom use it. I’d prefer to invest on other things but let’s see depending on the budget and necessity . Meanwhile, I’ll stick to my very own netbook while it’s still working.

Where can you find a place on earth when the weather is so warm in the middle of winter season? One of the places I know is where I live in, in Southern California. It was really hot today and I’ve seen some kids and young teens went to the swimming pool. Believe it or not until night time they were still there. I could see the pentair pool light shinning in the middle of night. The big pool is freezing cold but the quiet pool is warm. It would have been so hard for him if its cold because of his arthritis  in the arm.

We just passed by the pool from the park and took some pictures of my dad and the kids. I told dad that the weather in summer time is just the same as today, in the 80′s F.  He was very confused about the temperature. He’s expecting it to be cold and can’t bear it without a heater. Oh well, I couldn’t answer right away because I wonder as well why it’s too warm today. He should be thankful that its warm and not wait for the cold one.

The lolo my father loves the California life. At first, when he got here , he was complaining about the coldness of the city but after a week of stay, he is getting used with it. But of course, there is no place like home. He is just vacationing here and he’ll go back to the Philippines on February. Then, he’ll return on Spring and summer. That’s gonna be his life style for until he lives. I know it’s pretty expensive but if there’s a will, there’s a way. I suggested to him that he should stay for good but according to him, Philippines is his home, so be it.

I’m glad that my dad is very easy-going and above all he could watch the kids for a couple of hours when me and the husband is going out for a date, walking, or do some errands. Overall, I love it when lolo is here.

I promised to myself to clean once again before the year ends. But this time, a general cleaning which include the garage. Frankly speaking, our garage is a mess from the yard sale we had last month. There are still so many stuffs left behind after the 2-day-garage sale. I plan to empty the garage soon but I’ll set aside the landscaping  and welding supplies because they are needed in the business. How I wish that after I emptied the garage, two cars could fit in it. Yeah, I’m crossing my fingers so the second car will arrive soon.

What would you feel if somebody kicked you? Of course you’ll be pissed, right? Well, that would be the feeling of the door every day, but the thing is the door has no feeling. The owner should care enough to add some extra accessory on the door, it’s called door kick plates. It is easy to install and it helps protect the door and will not get damage from the kicking by the people who always have a handful in entering the house. You might be thinking if you do the same thing everyday (kicking the door especially when you just get inside the house). Personally, yes I do kick the door everyday. I just realized that today after asking myself if we do have door plates at home. I should be considering of getting one.

Let’s talk about our business : Landscaping business (commercial and residential). When the husband decided to quit his job in Pepsi Cola, he had to study first the nature of the landscaping business. He made sure that this is a kind of biz that wouldn’t leave him with an empthy hand. He bought this account called Greenscape Lawncare with the help of business funding offered by a certain stable lending company in addition to what he saved from his previous job. He used his savings to start a business. Yes, it was a succesful one because the business is still running until now. He owned it for more than 15 years now. We are not gonna hold this business forever though because once he will get a job as a nurse, we’ll sell the business for others to benefit from it. Just a piece of advice, don’t spend beyond your means so that the business will still stand no matter how bad the economy is.

Pretty soon I would say bye-bye to my beloved hp notebook because I’m gonna give this away to my father. He’ll be here in three days! I’m so excited for his arrival comes Saturday 5am. I know that pretty cold outside the LAX. I just checked the temp for that morning and its 32 degrees! Freezing point I know.

It’s about time to search for cheap netbooks for me. I’ll buy different brand like Samsung, Sony or Dell. I have to let go of the HP because I don’t really like the speed ( pretty slow) since the time I bought it a year ago. This is only good for user who’s not really into computer like my dad. I’ll teach him the very basic steps on how to manipulate the HP notebook so that when he’ll get back to the Philippines on February, he could use it to communicate with us.
